Gaming at the casino also feels like a taste of the tropics. The 15,000 square feet that houses Margaritaville casino and bar opened in 2011, all influenced by Jimmy Buffet's signature style. Once neon lights start burning, the Flamingo's nightspots come to life. Margaritaville and the 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar keep serving the tropical drinks and plenty of live music. In the casino, Bugsy's Bar stands in the heart of the action—it's named for the legendary Bugsy Siegel, the mobster influential for making Las Vegas from a stagecoach stop into a world-class destination. Many of the hottest clubs are located close to the Flamingo at Planet Hollywood, Paris Las Vegas, and other nearby resorts.
